First, cleaning: After stopping the machine, remove the protective devices around the bearing (such as dust covers). Use compressed air to blow away dust and impurities from the bearing surface and guide rail gaps. If there is oil or stains on the surface, wipe it with a cotton cloth dampened with a neutral detergent (such as soapy water). Avoid using corrosive solvents (such as gasoline or alcohol) to prevent damage to the sealing structure and lubricating grease. After cleaning, wipe the surface dry with a dry cotton cloth to ensure no detergent residue remains. Second, inspection: Manually push the bearing to observe whether the movement is smooth and whether there is any jamming or abnormal noise. Use a micrometer to measure the inner and outer ring dimensions of the bearing and check for wear (wear exceeding 0.05mm requires replacement). Check whether the sealing structure is intact, whether the sealing ring is aged or cracked, and whether there are scratches or rust on the guide rail shaft surface. Address any problems promptly. Next is lubrication. Thoroughly clean out old grease (especially dried or deteriorated grease). Use a special tool (such as a grease gun) to apply a suitable grease inside the bearing, filling it to cover the rolling elements and raceways (approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the internal clearance), avoiding excessive application which can cause overheating. Finally, adjust the bearing and guide rail clearance.
